HELLO.
IIn the world where the society is accepting every individual for the way they are, TBFF is providing a platform for people to showcase their talent in any form. The speakers for the festival include politicians, activists, and singers. This shows that TBFF is not just about the impact of movies but the entire concept of impacting lives.
The concept emerged from the Montreal Black Film Festival. An initiation started by the Fabienne Colas Foundation in 2003. The MIBFF has become the youngest and already the largest festival of its kind in Canada and slowly this concept has taken over the beautiful city of Toronto. The vision of this project is to bring the audience a variety of new black films and create major socio and cultural differences.
